It addresses issues such as defective street layouts, insanitary conditions, deteriorated site improvements, improper subdivision, and other factors endangering life or property, all contributing to economic and social liability.

This document outlines Springfield's comprehensive plan, "Forward SGF", adopted in 2022, which is designed to guide the city's growth and development through 2040.
