The special meeting of the Hanover Area School District Board of Education addressed financial recommendations, including the approval of the 2020-2021 Proposed Final General Fund Budget with no tax increase. A contract with PenTeleData for the Dark Fiber Line Lease and a Letter of Engagement with DeHey McAndrew for cash exchange plan and flexible spending accounts administration were also approved. Personnel matters included the acceptance of a resignation, approval of medical sabbatical leaves, the transfer of sick days, and appointments to cleaner positions. The tentative 2020 Graduation List was approved, and a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commission on Economic Opportunity was also approved.
The special meeting included the reading of Resolution #2020-04-01 by the Business Administrator and its subsequent approval. Future meeting dates for the May Work Session and May Regular Meeting were announced. The meeting was then adjourned.
