The commission reviewed the final spending requests for the current fiscal year. New business items included a debriefing on the Flower and Garden Festival, the development of a listicle featuring outreach actions, and a debriefing regarding the Golden Grabber initiative.

The Commission discussed public outreach efforts, including planning cybersecurity education and exploring potential partnerships with libraries and the police department. Key updates were provided on the status of IT operations, the implementation of new service desk software, the Town's exploration of artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity infrastructure improvements such as penetration testing and MFA. Additionally, commissioners and council members shared comments regarding commission networking events, the importance of password security education, and the need for clear public communication about the Town's responsible adoption of AI technology.

The Town Council meeting agenda includes proclamations for LGBTQ+ Pride Month, the approval of various consent items such as updates to the meeting schedule, Town Hall and Airport art exhibits, and budget amendments for fiscal years 2026 and 2027. Additionally, the agenda covers infrastructure projects including roof replacements at the executive airport and facilities condition assessments, as well as the renewal of the Leesburg Customer Assistance Program grant agreement.
