The commission reviewed the final spending requests for the current fiscal year. New business items included a debriefing on the Flower and Garden Festival, the development of a listicle featuring outreach actions, and a debriefing regarding the Golden Grabber initiative.

The Commission discussed public outreach efforts, including planning cybersecurity education and exploring potential partnerships with libraries and the police department. Key updates were provided on the status of IT operations, the implementation of new service desk software, the Town's exploration of artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity infrastructure improvements such as penetration testing and MFA. Additionally, commissioners and council members shared comments regarding commission networking events, the importance of password security education, and the need for clear public communication about the Town's responsible adoption of AI technology.

The Town Council meeting agenda includes proclamations for LGBTQ+ Pride Month, the approval of various consent items such as updates to the meeting schedule, Town Hall and Airport art exhibits, and budget amendments for fiscal years 2026 and 2027. Additionally, the agenda covers infrastructure projects including roof replacements at the executive airport and facilities condition assessments, as well as the renewal of the Leesburg Customer Assistance Program grant agreement. Several public hearings are scheduled regarding a multi-family residential special exception, zoning ordinance amendments related to the floodplain overlay district, and updates to design and construction standards and subdivision regulations.

The commission discussed various initiatives including the upcoming capstone recital, a 1776 themed concert to be held at St. James Episcopal Church, and a presentation by the Loudoun County Arts Program Manager regarding the county's Comprehensive Arts Plan, which includes new staff, infrastructure developments, and grant opportunities for performing arts.

The commission discussed a proposal for an airport observation deck and playground, which received formal endorsement. Additionally, a briefing was provided regarding the virtual public visioning session for the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The session also covered director's reports, including departmental financial updates, park project statuses, and scholarship data.
