Commission Meeting

The meeting included a monthly fire department update, which indicated an increase in calls. The police department update showed a decrease in calls for service and traffic collisions, but an increase in total citations and vehicle burglaries. The commission discussed prohibiting parking on certain streets due to complaints about overnight parking, litter, trash, debris, abandoned vehicles, increased crime, vandalism, and suspicious activity. A resident spoke about the problems with parking and trash in the neighborhood and requested that no parking be enacted in the neighborhood.
