Washoe County School District Board of Trustees Regular Meeting
The Board of Trustees convened to address several operational and financial matters. The meeting included the ceremonial swearing-in of a new school police officer and the approval of various consent agenda items, such as facility modernization construction agreements, professional service contracts, and tuition payments for concurrent enrollment programs. Significant presentations were provided regarding community partnerships with local organizations to support student achievement, as well as an update on the progress of district internship programs, which resulted in the reading of a proclamation honoring Career and Technical Education Month. Furthermore, the Board selected a Legislative Representative and adopted resolutions authorizing the issuance of general obligation bonds to support the Facility Modernization Plan.
