The Town Council is considering an application for a new restaurant liquor license for Jackson Drug LLC. The building is under restoration to revert it back to its original state, including a full kitchen, dining area, soda fountain, and mercantile. The application has been distributed to various town departments for review, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations. The council will consider the application, keeping in mind Wyoming Statutes regarding issuing liquor licenses and concerns raised from staff review.

The Jackson Town Council convened a special session to interview candidates and deliberate on appointments for the Town's Planning & Zoning Commission / Board of Adjustment, Board of Examiners, and the Public Art Taskforce. The meeting then moved into executive session to consider the appointment of a public official to a volunteer board.

The Jackson Town Council convened for a regular session, addressing various items including temporary sign permits for the Jackson Hole Ski Club and Orijin Summer Concerts, and dedicated resident parking during the Snow King Estates Water Project. Ordinances were discussed and approved, covering amendments to land development regulations and the establishment of a non-discrimination chapter in the Town of Jackson Municipal Code. The council also approved travel for attendees of the National League of Cities conference and discussed the Town Manager's Report, which included updates on the Snow King Mountain Master Plan Amendment Process, Public Works Utility Vehicle, Town Electric Bicycle Program, and a Police Department Utility Vehicle.

The Town Council is considering an Encroachment Agreement with Overdyke Revocable Trust for property at 2128 Hidden Ranch Lane. The agreement would allow an existing driveway to be regraded, encroaching 25 feet, and a retaining wall to encroach 6 feet into a Town right-of-way. The applicant is requesting a new Encroachment Agreement for a driveway that extends 25' into the right-of-way on Hidden Ranch Lane as well as a retaining wall that extends 6' into the right-of-way on Hidden Ranch Lane. The applicant is also requesting to install a snow melt system similar to the existing driveway. The Planning Director provides no recommendation on this request.

The Jackson Town Council meeting addressed various topics, including public comments on storm water and curb and gutter issues. The council approved a consent calendar with multiple items, such as meeting minutes, disbursements, a special event application for the Jackson Hole WILD Festival, a bid for an AWD Wagon Vehicle, a request to connect to the Wilson Sewer District's System, and an agreement with RRMC for temporary vehicle storage. Additionally, the council discussed a temporary sign permit, a malt beverage permit request, a special event for the September 11th Memorial, and a development plan and master plan minor amendment for Hidden Hollow. The council also reviewed the Snow King Projects process and considered ordinances related to water meter procurement and penalties for municipal code violations. Matters from the Mayor and Council included discussions on providing an additional downtown restroom and the success of the Redmond Street Rental project. The Town Manager's Report was accepted, and the meeting adjourned.
