North Reading Community Planning Commission Meeting
The Commission discussed the potential development of a town-owned property located within an affordable housing overlay district. The discussion focused on whether to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the development of affordable housing on the site or to dispose of the property through other means, such as an auction. Members debated the feasibility of affordable housing development given current market conditions, the undersized nature of the lot, and potential interest from abutter neighbors.
