The City Council meeting featured the presentation of the 2025 Beautification Community Service Awards, an annual update from the Library Board of Trustees, and the proclamation of February 2026 as American Heart Month. During the public forum, the council heard requests regarding funding for the Livermore Valley Opera's youth programs and a suggestion to adopt LibreOffice for city operations.

The City Council meeting included an open forum featuring public comments on various topics such as international affairs, the importance of defending democracy, and the potential adoption of LibreOffice software by the city. The council reviewed the consent calendar, which included discussions on bike lane infrastructure for the Vasco development, EV charging standards for new projects, Measure BB funds for pedestrian connections, repaving projects, and the Tri Valley Haven in-lieu grant. Additionally, a public hearing was held regarding the housing element annual progress report, which outlined the city's housing production and progress toward state-mandated regional housing needs allocation goals.

The meeting included reports on current ad hoc committees and the status of the Public Art Fund budget for FY 2025-26 and FY 2026-27. The Commission discussed and approved funding recommendations for Mini Grants, specifically for the Tri-Valley Artists Studio Tour and the Livermore's 150th Anniversary project. Additionally, the Commission reviewed and provided recommendations for Project and Program grant applications, including the Taste of Africa Festival, Film and Media Summit, Filipino Barrio Festival, ArtWalk, Opera in Schools, and Shakespeare in the Vineyard, as well as a projection display project. The Commission also discussed the use of new name badges for Commissioners.

The Board meeting agenda included reports on the library's recognition of Black History Month, a collaborative Digital Literacy Workshop with the Livermore Housing Authority, and an author visit from Drew Daywalt. Additionally, the Board reviewed ongoing library statistics and activity reports for the previous month. The meeting also included a discussion regarding the issuance of new name badges for Board members to be used when representing the Board in a formal capacity.

The Planning Commission received a training session on interpreting development plans. This included a detailed discussion regarding site plans, landscape plans, sign permit applications, road and sidewalk slopes, street naming processes, compliance summaries, and the design review process. Furthermore, an update regarding the General Plan Review was provided.
