The commission reviewed and approved a historic plaque for the Livermore Plaque Program at 1707 Third Street, as well as a public informational brochure regarding the Livermore Historic Preservation Program. Members also discussed the 2026 Work Plan Update and received status updates concerning the city's upcoming 150th anniversary celebration and the Midway School Project.

The council meeting addressed various topics including public concerns regarding child safety with electric bicycles and scooters, with the city noting an upcoming safety education program. A representative also raised concerns regarding Microsoft layoffs and proposed transitioning to free software for city use. The council received a presentation regarding an innovative mosquito reduction program utilizing Wolbachia, discussed the annual update from the Livermore Youth Council highlighting various community engagement events, held an open forum for public comment covering concerns about computer hacking, the efficacy of police alternative response units, and complaints regarding short-term rental permits.
