Additionally, the board approved a payment to Pease Heating and Plumbing from the Depreciation Fund and appointed authorized bus service technicians for the 2019-2020 school year. The Principal's and Superintendent's Reports were presented.

The board discussed potential updates or replacement of the existing bus barn. Changes to the Safe Pupil Transportation Plan were accepted and approved. Additionally, the board approved the purchase of a Scrub Ride from Hillyard using the Depreciation Fund. A teacher report was presented, along with a written report.

The board meeting included discussion and approval of the financial report, acceptance and approval of the Annual Performance Report for the 2019/2020 school year, and approval of updates to policies 204.07, 402.15, 404.02 and 503.04. Also, the board approved the request of the NEA to be a bargaining agent for the 2022-2023 school year negotiations. The Niobrara Public School board meeting included a budget hearing and a tax request hearing. The board approved the 2020-2021 budget and the tax levy rate. They also approved the removal of Angie Guenther from the Activity Account signature card and replaced her with Adrian Bowen. Additionally, the board approved the Niobrara Public Schools Board Policy Manual with presented changes. Reports were given by teachers, administrators, and the superintendent.
