A presentation was provided regarding the Ends 2.3 Empowered Employees policy, detailing professional development for early career teachers, school leaders, and various support staff. Other business included monitoring reports for executive limitations, the renaming of a high school theatre, and updates on committee activities and student representation.

The Council discussed the Superintendent's report, which covered school projects, literacy assessment data, staff training, and ongoing community engagement. A presentation was provided regarding inclusion, diversity, and anti-racism policies. The Council reviewed and approved executive limitations monitoring reports concerning information to the Council and financial administration. Additionally, the Council approved the educational specifications for the Grand Bay School replacement and received updates from members and the Chair, including information on the upcoming spring election, the budget, the renaming of the Executive Steering Committee to the Provincial Education Partners Council, and reminders regarding self-evaluations and the Superintendent's evaluation.
