The Board of Education meeting included updates on student leadership activities at Jamestown High School, including the CHARGE Leadership Retreat. The board also heard from JHS seniors about their participation in the Puerto Rican/Hispanic Youth Leadership Institute. Financial matters included the approval of contracts, change orders, an external audit for 2024-25, a lease agreement with Jamestown Board of Public Utilities, and the appointment of an Architectural/Engineering Firm. The board also approved instructional and non-instructional personnel recommendations, as well as CSE and CPSE meeting minutes. There were also discussions regarding the increase of substitute teachers to the JPS roster.
