This Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) for Montebello Unified School District outlines the strategy to achieve annual goals for all students, with particular attention to English Learners, low-income students, and foster youth. The plan is structured around key objectives: accelerating literacy skills, enhancing mathematics proficiency and Algebra readiness, and increasing overall college and career preparedness. The committee scheduled the remainder of the calendar year meeting dates and reviewed project updates for Measure M and Measure GS, including pool projects, decontamination efforts, and HVAC upgrades. Additionally, members received a report on bond expenditures, current financials for Measure Series A and B, and reviewed the unofficial 2024-2025 bond audit reports. The committee also discussed the potential for future financial reporting training.

The meeting includes the receipt, discussion, and approval of the Measure M and Measure GS Draft Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee Annual Report and Bond Audit Reports for Fiscal Year 2024/2025. Additionally, a presentation will be provided regarding an update on Measure M and Measure GS projects.
