Key consent considerations involved approving minutes from various committee meetings held in November 2025 and January 2026, acknowledging personnel staff changes through December 2025, acknowledging faculty changes through December 2025, acknowledging monthly fiscal reports for November and December 2025, acknowledging the Capital Improvement Projects Report, approving proposed curriculum changes, and information on curriculum updates. New business included the second reading and approval of Board Rule 2.02 Non-Discrimination, the selection and contract negotiation for the Workforce Development Center construction management firm, and the approval of a ranking for proposals related to this center. The meeting agenda also included reports from the President, Vice Presidents, Board Attorney, and all Board Committees.

The plan emphasizes a commitment to excellence, innovation, and ensuring student success.

The New Business item focused on the selection of a Design-Build Services Proposal for the Workforce Development Center. This follows a previous action where the Board voted to publicly notice soliciting other proposals to evaluate alongside an unsolicited proposal previously received. The recommendation is to select a design-build proposal and commence negotiations for an agreement.
