Dover Fire & Rescue aims to serve as a quality-of-life resource by assisting community members in achieving health and safety through community risk reduction, with a vision to stay ahead of community needs via technology and engagement. The strategic goals are structured around five key areas: Financial and Benchmark, Product and Process, Leadership and Governance, Customer Focused, and Workforce-Focus. Key initiatives include maintaining organizational strategic plans to meet community needs, ensuring services meet industry standards, enhancing citizen engagement, fiscal review of EMS billing, and assuring a safe, trained, and professionally developed workforce.
