Additionally, the Council received a staff report on a soil permit for Pitt Meadows Secondary School, approved a Temporary Use Permit for soil operations at 17607 and 17890 Ford Road Detour, and adopted the Election Bylaw Amendment Bylaw.

The Council meeting included the announcement of the first Non-Commissioned Officer In-Charge for the local RCMP detachment. A celebration segment recognized a resident's dog for winning a prestigious kennel club award. The Council received reports on federal funding for a community orchard and edible garden project, as well as an update on the Official Community Plan and Regional Context Statement. Additionally, a presentation was provided on local economic development initiatives. The Council granted three readings to the Good Governance Repeal Bylaw and the Indemnification Bylaw, and adopted a bylaw to repeal expired financial records.

The council meeting addressed several key items, including a presentation from Fraser Health regarding healthcare recruitment and retention. The council endorsed the recommendations from the Harris Road Complete Street Feasibility Study and supported implementation of initial project phases including path, intersection, and bike lane upgrades. A rezoning application for a property on Blakely Road was approved, waiving a development information meeting. Furthermore, the council granted readings for several bylaws, including an Official Community Plan amendment, updates to development application fees, and the repeal of obsolete financial bylaws.
