Its main focus areas include strengthening farming through the application of Minister's Bylaw Standards related to zoning designations, permitted uses, lot coverage, siting and size of residential uses, height limitations, and various setbacks, including those from lot lines and watercourses. The guide also addresses specific components such as temporary farm worker housing, combined heat and power generation, audible bird scare devices, mushroom farms, and on-farm composting. The intended outcomes are to foster a fair and supportive regulatory environment for agriculture, promote consistency in agricultural planning across local governments, and protect the province's agricultural resource base and long-term farming sustainability.

This document presents two analyses for the City of Pitt Meadows: a Commercial Lands Analysis and an Industrial Lands Analysis. The Commercial Lands Analysis, completed in 2018, inventories retail and service commercial space, profiles existing commercial areas, and forecasts future demand by area and year up to 2041. The Industrial Lands Analysis, updated in 2019, focuses on office and industrial space, providing demand forecasts based on Metro Vancouver projections and market data, as well as tax implications of industrial development.
