The commission discussed updates from various subcommittees, including the data subcommittee's engagement with the police department regarding sensitive databases and new system requirements. The compliance and police reform subcommittee reported a lack of response from the police department regarding a scheduled meeting. The school safety subcommittee provided an update on the progress of the annual report. A significant portion of the discussion focused on the role of police in probable cause and pre-trial release decisions by district court commissioners, with agreement to include these findings and concerns in the annual report.

The council session focused on two primary proclamations.
