Center for Population Health and Equity Strategic Overview
The Center for Population Health and Equity (CPHE) at Kansas City University (KCU) is dedicated to addressing health inequities by educating students and engaging communities. The Center operates across four strategic pillars: Education, Research, Service, and Community Outreach. Key initiatives include SCORE 1 for Health, the Student Health Advocate Program, the School Mental Health Partnership, the CPHE Research Lab, and Rural Health Workforce Development. The overarching vision is to empower individuals to meet their health needs and transform community health through policy and systemic change, ultimately improving the well-being of served communities.
