The Public Utilities Board approves the final water and wastewater rates for the Rural Municipality of Alexander, Great Falls Water and Wastewater Utility. The approved rates include quarterly service charges, water and wastewater rates per 1,000 gallons, minimum quarterly charges, bulk sales rates, and hydrant rental charges. The RM is required to review its water and wastewater rates for adequacy and file a report with the Public Utilities Board, as well as an application for revised rates on or before December 31, 2020. The board directs the RM to monitor the new water treatment plant performance.
