The plan's core focuses include implementing a trauma-responsive approach, integrating Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), utilizing Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and leveraging experiential learning. The overarching vision is to cultivate a safe, resilient school community where students develop strong hearts and minds, empowering them to thrive personally and professionally while positively impacting their communities.

The Graham School's 2025-2026 Student Wellness and Success Plan focuses on fostering academic, social, and emotional growth for all students. Key areas of focus include promoting a growth mindset, fostering self-direction, teaching with sensitivity to brain development, utilizing community resources, and creating a safe, resilient school community. The plan aims to address trauma experienced by students and build skills necessary for college and career readiness through Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) initiatives, trauma-responsive practices, and partnerships with organizations like EL Education and NYAP.
