The board of directors attended the Arlington High School graduation ceremony. The event included welcome remarks from the principal, a valedictorian address, musical performances by the school band and choir, and a formal certification of the graduation requirements for the Class of 2026. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of diplomas to 340 graduates.

The board conducted both a study session and a regular meeting. Key discussion topics included a review of the Continuity of Operations Plan, proposed AI language for procedural policy, and a retiree celebration. During the regular meeting, the board heard student presentations on a math stock market unit, introduced new student advisors, and honored retirees. The board also addressed several consent agenda items, approved a resolution honoring a student advisor, reviewed an annual conflict of interest report, and received an annual report from the Advisory Council for Education. Additionally, the board approved an interlocal agreement for School Resource Officer services, received an update on instructional cycles for professional learning communities, discussed budget development, and adopted revisions to the policy regarding meeting conduct, order of business, and quorum.
