The strategy aims to support sustainable economic development, enhance economic competitiveness, build resilience to threats, diversify the economy, and generate increased revenue, ultimately fostering a healthy and thriving community.

The board meeting included several recognition ceremonies for individuals demonstrating outstanding service and heroism, such as law enforcement deputies, community members who assisted in a hit-and-run apprehension, and local high school water polo teams that achieved championship titles. Furthermore, the board engaged in public comment sessions regarding homeless outreach, behavioral health initiatives, and collaborative economic development efforts within the county.

The committee held its quarterly meeting to discuss the deferred compensation program status, covering the 457 and 401a plans.
