Governing Board of Moraine Valley Community College Regular Meeting
The meeting included reports from the Student Trustee regarding campus activities and the new college mascot, and administrative reports covering a new manufacturing training partnership with Ingredion, along with overviews of the Finance and Human Resources divisions. The Board received a letter of gratitude from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing and reviewed the July financial report. Consent agenda items included approval of warrants, personnel reports concerning new hires, leaves of absence, resignations, and retirements, as well as multiple affiliation agreements with healthcare organizations. Additionally, the Board approved the 2026 holiday schedule, the Explore Mailer bid, the purchase of office furniture for the Learning Resource Center, and equipment for the Fire Science program.
