Zone 7 Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District Regular Meeting
The Board meeting covered a range of operational and infrastructure-related actions. Key topics included the award of multiple contracts for services such as flood protection strategic advisory, on-call flood maintenance engineering, project management for capital improvement projects, generator maintenance, and electrical power testing. The Board also approved a professional services agreement for evaluating reclamation plan amendments and authorized additional funding for USGS stream gauge monitoring. Furthermore, the Board appointed representatives to the ACWA/JPIA and approved an amendment to a progressive design-build contract to procure long-lead electrical equipment for the Mocho PFAS Treatment Plant, as well as an amendment to an existing safety program training contract.
