Jay Public Schools Board Of Education Regular Meeting Minutes
The Board of Education approved various operational and financial items, including consent agenda items, a policy for designating operating and investment funds, and a loan agreement for the Child Nutrition Program. The board amended student handbooks, renewed contracts for resource officers, set athletic season pass prices and adult meal prices, and approved an independent contractor agreement. Additionally, members approved out-of-state travel, updated bullying and harassment policies, established a Memorandum of Understanding with the Oklahoma School for the Deaf, adopted a revised certified salary schedule, and appointed adjunct teachers. Several personnel resignations were accepted, new teaching staff were hired, and personnel reassignments and extra-duty coaching assignments were finalized.
