The 2025 Urban Water Management Plan for the City of Inglewood outlines a long-term strategy for water resource management over a 25-year planning horizon through 2050. The commission held a special meeting to review project revisions for the Creative House Gallery utility box project, including site selection, maintenance costs, and ownership rights. Discussion also addressed liability for severe damage and insurance coverage. Following an initial vote to approve the installation of 25 utility boxes, the commission discussed procurement requirements for projects exceeding $25,000, ultimately voting to reconsider the approval and subsequently tabling the matter to allow for the gathering of additional information and the development of an RFP. Additionally, commissioners shared updates on community initiatives and upcoming artistic engagements.

The Commission reviewed the Downtown Global Village Project, an initiative focused on creating murals for Inglewood artists ahead of major upcoming international events. Discussions also included a Creative-Led Community Development Initiative for Downtown Inglewood and the approval of Phase 1 for the Utility Art Box Program. Additionally, the Library Director provided updates on various public art installations, the upcoming Summer Reading Program, and status reports on pending RFPs and art project funding. A proposal for an Artist Community for the LA28 Cultural Olympiad was also formally acknowledged.

The agenda focuses on the discussion of the Kali Hotel Public Art project and includes verbal reports on various public art initiatives, such as the CAS x IPL x IOS Family Art Festival, the Market Street Cultural District proposal, and the Inglewood Artists Pentathlon for the LA28 Cultural Olympiad.
