The Board meeting focused on welcoming a new regent and introducing new administrative leadership for the Stout and Oshkosh campuses. Updates were provided regarding ongoing executive searches for the UW System President and the UW-Madison Chancellor. The Board President presented three primary strategic goals for the upcoming year: selecting new leadership, developing a state budget focused on tuition affordability and increased support for student debt relief and veterans, and enhancing board governance through collaborative learning and testing of new operational practices.
