BoardUW System Board of Regents Education Committee Education Committee Meeting Minutes
The committee reviewed and approved several academic programs, including a Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrated Health, a Master of Science in Applied Statistics, and a Bachelor of Arts in Animation. The committee also adopted the UW-River Falls Faculty Layoff or Termination Policy, an Outcomes-Based Funding Model, peer groups for UW System institutions, and a plan for monitoring and rewarding teaching workloads. Additionally, reports were provided on the UW System Math Initiative, a NASH grant, the Water Research Advisory Collaborative, and a new policy requiring disclosures for participation in certain services and programs. An update on freshman enrollment at UW-Madison was also presented.
