BoardBoard Of Finance Regular Meeting
The Board of Finance discussed several agenda items, including the adoption of updated Board of Finance rules. The board approved additional appropriations for three grants: a CERT Training Grant for emergency training, a Medical Reserve Corps Grant for volunteer public health emergency support, and a Bioterrorism Emergency Response Grant for salary and benefits. Additionally, the board agreed to provide advisory opinions to the Board of Representatives regarding the total cost and long-term tax burden of finalized agreements between the City of Stamford and both the Stamford Municipal Nurses Association and the United Electrical Union, Local 222.
