They reviewed the cost to annex the property and bring it under the city's jurisdiction. The council also discussed the need to update the Comprehensive Plan affecting certain parcels to pull the downtown mix juice area into compliance. Public nuisance abatement, involving issues of properties such as drugs, prostitution, domestic violence, squatters, and trash accumulation, was addressed.

The meeting included a presentation from Main Street Crestview Association, recognizing the help from public works. The council discussed and approved the minutes from previous meetings with a correction. A public hearing was opened for two ordinances, including ordinance number 1626 regarding recreational vehicles. The purpose of this ordinance is to provide orderly, safe, and effective parking of recreational vehicles within residential districts of the city of Crestview.

The meeting included discussions about gateway entrance signs, including options for planter signs and arch options. The CRA is considering requests for native plants in the planter and is also exploring the possibility of adding a directional arrow to help guide people into the historic downtown district. There was also discussion about a digital 3-way sign, with several options presented, including a sign with two digital sides, one digital side, or no digital sign at all.

The workshop included discussions on travel and per diem policies, covering topics such as meal allowances, overnight stay requirements, and mileage reimbursement. The council also discussed the future of impact fees, including repealing the current traffic impact fee ordinance and adopting a mobility fee, as well as continuing the process of mitigating local impacts from new developments.
