The Oxnard Harbor District Board Meeting included discussions and actions on several key items. The Board approved consent items, received reports from the CEO & Port Director, and reviewed the Procurement and Policy Schedules. There were updates on upcoming community events and press reports pertaining to the District. The Board also considered and approved a modification to a lease with NRC Environmental Services and a purchase agreement with Datastew LLC for IT support and equipment. The preliminary operating budget, capital outlay plan, and debt schedule for the fiscal year 2016-2017 were adopted, setting a public hearing for the final budget adoption. Additionally, the Board received updates from the Chief Finance & Administrative Officer, and discussed real property negotiations in a closed session.

The Oxnard Harbor District Board Meeting included discussions and actions on several resolutions, including support for the Ventura County Transportation Measure Investment/Expenditure Plan, calling for an election of Harbor Commissioners, and requesting consolidation of the Oxnard Harbor District election with statewide elections.
