Council Of The City Of Saint Charles Regular City Council Meeting
The council approved the certification of general municipal election results. Presentations included the introduction of a new Deputy Fire Chief, the awarding of heroism honors to a firefighter and police officer for rescuing victims from a fire, and the issuance of proclamations for National Public Works Week, Professional Municipal Clerks Week, and Local Government Week. The council also approved multiple contracts and agreements, including engineering services, parking infrastructure projects, concrete maintenance, and enterprise resource planning software. Several ordinances were passed concerning transportation funding, police grant applications, zoning amendments, annexation, and participation in the Missouri Fire Fighters Critical Illness Trust. The council also introduced several bills regarding surplus property, industrial revenue bonds, and easements. Finally, the council appointed a member to the Board of Adjustment and tabled a discussion regarding a mayoral veto to a future session.
