Several public hearings were held concerning the Local Control and Accountability Plan for the district and Choices Charter School, the 2026-27 budget, and interfund borrowing. Other business included energy reduction project contracts and the election of a Sacramento County Treasury Oversight Committee representative.

The San Juan Unified strategic plan is a collaborative vision involving educators, families, and community partners.
