The council discussed expanding the social district, wayfinding signs, mini grants, lodging tax letters, and the utility committee meeting. They discussed the purchase of a new pump for the sewer plant, a bid for a salt barn roof, and the wages of employees at the sewer plant. Additionally, they approved the sale of an old truck and went into a closed session for legal and personnel matters.

The appointment of a new City Clerk was approved, and discussions were held on advertising for the City Administrator position.

The meeting included a public comment session where Luke Vale from Downtown Trenton discussed the need for sidewalk repairs and promoted the Beer & Wine Walk. Bill No. 44, concerning a conditional use permit for a women's halfway house/sober living home, and Bill No. 45, regarding a quit claim deed for real property to North Central Missouri College, were discussed and passed. The council also went into a closed session for personnel matters.
