The council recognized police personnel for service and heroism. The council approved the purchase of a 2" conduit with a power cable from North Missouri Construction and a new vehicle for the code enforcement department. Additionally, the council rejected bids for diesel fuel and requested that the advertisement be rewritten. Several legislative actions were taken, including the passing of ordinances for special counsel services, conflict of interest reaffirmation, and a conditional use permit for office spaces to be converted into apartments. An easement ordinance failed to pass due to clerical errors. Discussions were held regarding an equipment rental policy and a potential new policy requiring new employees to use direct deposit.
