The board discussed and approved an interlocal agreement with the City of Panama City regarding road paving and resurfacing projects in various districts. Additionally, a memorandum of understanding with the Boys and Girls Club of Bay County was considered and approved for future development as a façade grant, contingent upon further commission approvals. The board also authorized a matching donation to the Historic St. Andrews Waterfront Partnership and received updates regarding various ongoing community redevelopment projects.

The Planning Board considered several development requests, including the conceptual plan for the SweetBay Town Center Phase 3 development and a major development request for properties on McKenzie Avenue. Furthermore, the board reviewed applications for annexation, land use amendments, and rezoning, as well as a request for the vacation of utility, drainage, and sewer easements. Additional rezoning from Neighborhood Residential to Neighborhood General was also addressed. Each item involved presentations by staff and applicants, followed by public participation and board deliberations resulting in recommended approvals.

The City Commission meeting featured multiple public hearings on ordinances regarding voluntary annexations, land use designations, zoning map amendments, and the Gateway Overlay of the Unified Land Development Code. Key business items included the approval of special event permits, the awarding of construction bids for infrastructure projects, and the appointment of a special code enforcement magistrate. The commission also approved several budget amendment resolutions for police department equipment, fire station retrofits, and the purchase of a street scrubber. Additionally, the commission authorized an interlocal agreement with Bay County for roadway transfers, a lease agreement with Girls Incorporated of Bay County, and a purchase contract for the Breezeway Project.

Additionally, the Commission discussed and authorized the purchase of property using CRA funds and deliberated on a potential construction grant for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bay County.
