Regional Transportation Council Agenda
The council discussed various transportation and administrative matters, including the approval of a one-time lump-sum merit payment for the MPO Director, updates to the North Texas Zero Emissions Vehicle Project requirements, and approval of candidate projects for the PROTECT Competitive Grant Program. Additional topics included the 60th anniversary of the NCTCOG, orientation for new members, the 2027 Legislative Policy Program for the 90th Texas Legislature, approval of funding for air quality modeling capabilities, an overview of the Regional Bicycle Safety Action Plan, and the initiation of the 2027 Transportation Alternatives Call for Projects. The council also addressed naming conventions for the MPO and received updates on commercial vehicle compliance, the Integrated Transportation and Stormwater Infrastructure Study, and the Access North Texas 2026 update.
