Following the executive session, the Board reconvened and voted to engage the firm Kelly Hart & Hallman to represent the named Board members in the case and authorized expenditures for their legal defense.

The agenda focuses on several key items for the Executive Board, including the approval of the quarterly investment report and authorization for contracts related to the standards-based NG9-1-1 call handling system and cloud-based enterprise resource planning software. The Board will also consider endorsing a special amendment to the 2024 International Energy Conservation Code and amending authorization for interlocal agreements regarding contributions for the Cotton Belt Regional Bicycle/Pedestrian Trail. Additionally, the Board will receive status reports on settlement negotiations concerning the Metropolitan Planning Agreement, a triennial review conducted by the Federal Transit Administration, and an executive director's report.
