Bismarck Public Schools Monitoring Report
The board accepted the monitoring report for Policy OE-10 Learning Environment as In Compliance. The report includes a detailed review of 21 indicators regarding the instructional program, including positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS), discipline policies, secure maintenance of student records, and the protection of student well-being. The administration outlined ongoing implementation strategies, including professional development for verbal de-escalation and trauma-informed practices, and the integration of MTSS-A and MTSS-B frameworks. The report also addresses recent cybersecurity incidents and corrective actions taken, as well as the alignment of disciplinary matrices across elementary and secondary divisions.
