The committee discussed and approved the implementation of the 2026-2028 Stormwater Reuse Grant Program, which provides funding to local governments for stormwater and rainwater reuse projects aimed at reducing water consumption and ensuring resource sustainability. Additionally, the committee authorized a contract with Rice Lake Construction Group for the modernization of the St. Croix Valley Water Reclamation Facility. This project includes critical asset preservation and safety improvements, such as HVAC, electrical, and process equipment upgrades, intended to extend the facility's operational lifespan by approximately 30 years.
