All existing overhead structures and 4/0 ACSR conductors from Pole P1A (located just outside the Portage Substation) to Poles P53A and P53B will be removed and replaced with new double-circuit overhead structures using 336 ACSR conductors see attached design drawings for more information. In addition, the existing underground infrastructure consisting of 1/0 CONC and 350 CONC cables running from Poles P53A and P53B to PB 2575 and PB 2174 will be replaced with upgraded underground conduit and cable systems.
