Prior to conducting counts, counting equipment shall be tested in accordance with FHWA requirements, and test data shall be submitted to MassDOT for certification/acceptance prior to data collection activities. Counts shall not occur on a holiday or a Monday, or a Friday. All counts shall be taken in accordance with the RPA Traffic Counting Procedures prepared by MassDOT (see attached copy).
