Arthur Community Unit School District 305

The Arthur Board of Education held a regular meeting where they discussed various topics. These included principal and superintendent reports, a potential Health, Life, Safety replacement option for the high school in collaboration with BLDD and ISBE, and personnel matters such as resignations, retirements, and new hires. The board also went into a closed session to discuss specific employee matters.

The board meeting addressed various topics including the presentation of State FFA degrees earned by Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School students, and public comments from the Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School girls' basketball team coach. The board approved the 25-26 School Calendar and an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Village of Atwood. Updates were provided on facilities, including Health Life Safety information and discussions on bleachers and the press box. The board accepted resignations of certified staff and discussed staffing updates, including speech and language positions, science positions, and elementary education positions.
