At the GS-11 equivalent level, the pos will perform the following duties: internal coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for all PSC related BHA/AMS requests, including, but not limited to, access to the Agency’s cloud‐computing technology for customer service tracking known as ServiceNow, facilitating facility, and security clearances. Ensure that all requests meet the Agency standards and appropriate regulations. Provide updates to office personnel regarding status of request and the necessary documentation required. Maintain documentation regarding status of security clearances, requests for clearances, and expirations of current clearances. Update the AMS request and security clearance tracking spreadsheets as necessary. Assist in responding to Bureau or Agency data calls relating to resource management, space, security clearances, teleworking and other administrative issues. See outside linked file.

Strategic communications: Provide internal and external communication support for complex communication challenges, including the launch or expansion of new BHA initiatives. Communicate BHA’s lead role in humanitarian assistance in a way that highlights the impact of our work, the resources committed, and our dedication to increasing humanitarian awareness. Provide strategic messaging guidance to BHA, other parts of USAID, and the interagency to shape the narrative around BHA’s work. Proactively look for new engagement opportunities to raise BHA’s profile, working across the Bureau, G3PC office, and SCHI Division. Work within BHA’s SCHI Division to identify, develop, and implement the Bureau’s strategic communications goals; develop and implement communications plans, as needed; and track and determine impact of targeted strategies. Work with division and team members to adapt communications outputs to reflect changing priorities and evolving needs of BHA. See attached file.
