Description: The North Carolina Department of Transportation’s Division 13 is soliciting sealed bids for a single-prime contract to build a new 2,520-square-foot wood-frame maintenance office in Yancey County. The work includes site work, sidewalks and utilities, a slab and finished shell, flooring, a ceiling system, and plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems; interior demountable walls are covered by a separate contract. Bids are due by 11:00 a.m. on November 10, 2026, and bidders must attend the mandatory October 27, 2026 pre-bid meeting and provide a 5% bid bond or certified check and performance and payment bonds.
