Winter Plowing 2 Year Contract (Request for Proposal)

Description: This includes plowing, sanding and/or salting Barber Road and the Town Hall parking lot. It also includes the western section of Road from Route 2A to the Road Barriers (2/10 of a mile). In addition, it also includes installation and removal of winter road barriers, plowing, sanding and/or salting of the continuation of Ayer Road after the seasonal closure, up to Willow Brook Lane, when the road barriers are moved away, and only if required by hazardous weather conditions. It also includes shoveling and salting and/or sanding for clear and safe pedestrian traffic along entrances, service walkways, and ramps at the Town Hall and the Little Red Schoolhouse.
