Description: Project consists of approx. 7,550 feet of existing unreclaimed highwalls and associated impoundments/hazardous water bodies from previous surface mining operations. These features are situated approximately 50 to 100 feet from turkey run. Dewatering of approximately 1.7 million gallons of water from the impoundments shall occur and then approx. 348,000 cy of onsite soils shall be utilized to create the highwall backfill slopes of approx. 2. 5:1. Project work shall occur on a construction footprint of approx. 36 total acres. Additional work for the site shall include access road/staging area construction; installation of sediment control, clearing and grubbing.
