WCP Utility Asset Inventory Support Project RFP
Western Carolina Power (WCP), a university-owned electric utility operated by Western Carolina University (WCU), is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to assist in developing an operational utility asset inventory system for internal utility operations and asset management. The purpose of the project is to improve WCP's operational awareness, outage response capabilities, maintenance planning, infrastructure management, and long-term utility planning by creating a practical, maintainable utility asset inventory environment suitable for its electric distribution system. The selected vendor will collaborate with WCP personnel to develop the inventory system, deliver training to WCP staff, and provide long-term post-implementation support, with all work performed at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC (RFP ID: 73-RFPIT0017).
