Water Management Renovations at Pocotaligo Preserve - Phase II

Description: Beaufort County’s Land Preservation Department is seeking qualified contractors to renovate water-management features within and associated with the impoundments at Pocotaligo Preserve in Yemassee, South Carolina. This is Phase 2 and the final phase of a multi-staged design/build renovation, following Phase 1 work that improved water exchange and drainage through pipes and berms. The work will add further pipes, structures, and circulation canals to improve water exchange throughout the impoundments and achieve habitat objectives, with the County holding the required managed tidal impoundment permit.
